Terms and Conditions
1. The electrician will perform the agreed work in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
2. All materials and workmanship will meet professional standards and applicable legal requirements.
3. The client shall ensure safe and unrestricted access to the premises during agreed working hours.
4. Any changes or additions to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties. These may affect the final cost and completion time.
5. After the agreed work between both parties is completed by the electrician and tested and proved to be working in the owner/client presence, and no faults are found, and the client pays the agreed amount to the electrician’s business account, no further concerns shall be raised by the client regarding the job’s quality standards or the agreed payment.
6. The amount paid for the completed job shall be considered final and binding. It cannot be revised or renegotiated after payment is made. This amount represents the full and final agreement between the client and the electrician for the scope of work provided.
7. After the job is completed, no third party, company, or professional shall have any right to interfere with, alter, modify, or carry out any work over the electrician’s completed job. If such interference occurs, the electrician’s warranty, responsibility for future maintenance, and any money claim obligations shall be voided. All liabilities and any subsequent work shall be the full responsibility of the party who altered or interfered with the completed job.
8. Any faults arising due to workmanship or component failure (within the agreed warranty period, typically 6–12 months) will be assessed and rectified by the electrician free of charge — as long as no third-party interference has occurred.
9. The electrician holds valid public liability insurance up to £2 million.
10. The terms and conditions does not override any statutory rights of the client relating to consumer protection law.
11. Cancellation of the contract by either party must be made in writing and with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
12. Photographs or video evidence may be taken by the electrician at or after completion as a record of the work done and its condition at handover. This documentation may be used to resolve any disputes.
13. The electrician shall not be held liable for delays or additional costs caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or any unforeseen client-side issues.
14. Any reattendance requested by the client after completion — where no fault in workmanship or materials is found — may be subject to a call-out charge.
15. The client agrees to resolve any disputes directly with the electrician before posting public reviews. False, misleading, or defamatory reviews may be subject to legal action.
16. In the event of non-payment, the electrician reserves the right to pursue full legal recovery of unpaid invoices, including any associated collection costs, legal fees, and interest.
